Dover Street Market has platformed social and political campaigns for years. From teaming with ‘When We All Vote’ to creating a capsule collection to save a sustainable farm, they have consistently shown support for the underdog, and this time it’s RIP REST IN PERPETUITY.

The exclusive launch at Dover Street Market attracted a vibrant crowd of artists, designers, journalists, and activists. 50% of the collection was sold in the first four days, including the inaugural piece - a printed shirt featuring the artist’s evocative in-situ photographs of some 30 ‘characters’ attending a funeral dressed in her designer wardrobe.

The collection included delicately printed shirts featuring the artist’s photography, along with a curated selection of one-of-a-kind garments from the artist’s designer wardrobe, each handprinted with topical slogans and skull motifs.

From Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto to Martin Margiela and Romeo Gigli, these pieces have been reimagined with designs inspired by the exhumed remains found during the construction of TfL’s substation, serving as a poignant tribute to the lost souls of Crossbones Graveyard.
